Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development
As a nonprofit, Schreiber Center for Pediatric Development relies on fundraising to meet a high percentage of its annual operating budget so it can provide life-changing therapeutic and educational services to special needs children, age birth to 21, and their families.
To position the bigger picture of who Schreiber Pediatric is, the full scope of their services, and the value it has in the community in the context of one of Lancaster County, Pennsylvania biggest fundraising events, the annual 24-hour Extraordinary Give.
Our approach was to draw potential donors in by shining a light on the children and therapists who make amazing strides in overcoming seemingly insurmountable odds every day at Schreiber Pediatric. We asked donors to keep that light shining by becoming a star supporter, making them part of the story.
Schreiber Pediatric’s social media channels are one of its greatest marketing tools, and social media is a key platform that is bolstered during the ExtraGive. We developed a marketing package of email campaigns, organic and paid social media marketing, and direct mail to position Schreiber among many worthy organizations and rise above the clutter of a very crowded space. The design highlighted the playful, fun atmosphere Schreiber creates for their patients through bright colors and fun shapes. This intentional direction helped visually differentiate Schreiber from the hundreds of other ExtraGive organizations. Three weeks prior to the event, Schreiber’s ExtraGive campaign reached potential donors and lookalike audiences with consistent branded messaging, imagery, and a compelling call to action.
