Cork Factory Hotel

The journey began in 2004 when visionary entrepreneurs Jill Fanning and Barry Baldwin renovated the old Armstrong Cork Factory into a mixed-use complex called Urban Place. They partnered with us to create branding first for Urban Place and then for the brands to follow; Cork Factory Hotel, The Baker’s Table, and Cork Collection. As a marketing partner, they rely on us to keep their brand materials on target and uniquely current.

The Challenge

Across the Urban Place brands, there are several target markets. The challenge is to speak to each market independently as well as to communicate the power of the combined brand.

The AHA Moment

The family of brands has an industrial chic commonality that leads everything we create for Urban Place. The physical location was always the inspiration: the cork, the factory and the history. It was all right there.
